Our Company

Originally founded in 1988 as Associated Breweries Limited, Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) Its first brewery in Dar es Salaam started commercial operations in 1996; it changed to its present name in 2002. In 2010, East African Breweries Limited (EABL), a Diageo subsidiary, bought the firm. SBL runs three breweries today strategically placed in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, and Moshi.

Serengeti Premium Lager, our main offering, has become well-known throughout Tanzania. Our portfolio also contains world-famous brands like Guinness and Pilsner as well as a broad spectrum of internationally known spirits like Johnnie Walker®, Smirnoff Vodka®, Bailey's Irish Cream®, Richot®, Bond 7 Whiskey®, and Gilbey's Gin®.

1. 1. Customs & Excise Manager - Tanzania
   2. Sales Executive (talent pool)

JOB TITLE:Customs & Excise Manager – Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise customs and excise compliance throughout every SBL location.
  
  Make sure government rules on product taxation and import/export legislation are followed.
  
  Work with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities to simplify customs procedures.
  
  Oversee ties with government agencies like TRA and customs authorities.
  
  Lead the creation of customs and excise duty policy and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant discipline.
  
  At least five years in a comparable tax compliance or regulatory position.
  
  Thorough understanding of Tanzanian tax rules, customs laws, and excise procedures.
  
  Good leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.

JOB TITLE: Sales Executive (Talent Pool)

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase sales and meet volume goals in designated areas.
  
  Develop and sustain relationships with important consumers, stores, and distributors.
  
  Offer market knowledge and spot fresh business prospects.
  
  Promote brands and run ground-level campaigns.
  
  Sales performance and market dynamics reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant subject.
  
  Two years of FMCG or beverage industry sales experience.
  
  Good negotiating and people skills.
  
  Able to operate under pressure, proactive and results-driven.
